Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka, widely known as Chike has been tapped for the latest issue of Taylor Live Magazine, in which he dons several stylish pieces while smoldering for the camera.
The singer, who competed on season 1 of The Voice Nigeria Season 1 in 2016 finishing as a runner-up, talks about his creative process, fans, dealing with negativity online, performance anxiety and more in a quick chat with the digital publication.
“My love music drew me in. After being a part of two reality music competitions and receiving immense love, I knew I had to give it a try,” he says when asked what drew him to the music industry. “It was tough but I pushed on and thankfully, we are thriving.”
The Boo and the Booless crooner also spoke briefly about where he draws inspiration from. “I am inspired by life in all its colours, I am basically a storyteller and I do that through music,” he noted, explaining that he’s also inspired by other artists that are storytellers, such as “Tracy Chapman, Duncan Mighty, The Passenger, Flavour to name a few.”
