5 Nigerian artists that charge highest per show

The music industry is one that has flourished over the years and a lot of improvements been recorded, from the sale of music to shows,concerts and what have you. This industry which was once seen as not to do well industry is now one that not just young artists seeks to be part of but also great entrepreneurs and business men and women.

The industry has produced lots of great and talented artists who can now compete with the rest of the world. The industry has grown to the level that musicians charge a lot of fee for them to appear on a show. The likes of Kizz Daniel, Tekno, Olamide, phyno, Davido, Cdq, and the rest now charge millions of naira to perform in a show.

These artists not only generate income from the sell of their songs and shows they also sign major endorsement deals with big brands like,Pepsi, Glo, MTN, Nike, Ciroc, Martel, Airtel, Etisalat, Star lager beer, Hero, and betting companies. These new generation artists are really into of their game.

Well, with all these going on for these artists i began to wonder, how much will these guys possible worth and what do they charge per show to make them live the lavish lifestyle they are known to live. This is what i found out.

Here is the list of some of the musicians in Nigeria, how much they charge per show and who takes home the highest.

Kizz Daniel.

Kizz daniel is a great artist and a good looking one at that, he is highly creative and talented. He has been dropping good songs over the years since he came into limelight. The Woju crooner charges 5-6 million naira per show in Nigeria and outside Nigeria he charges $80,000. Now that is great and mouth watering.

Olamide.

Baddo himself is on our list. Olamide is one of the most successful ingenious hip hop artist in Nigeria with over 8 studio albums. He is a master of hit songs, never a dull moment whenever olamide grabs the mic. He knows how to impress his fans in the street. Olamide is also a record label owner. He owns YBNL NATION. He is the brain behind the likes of Adekunle Gold, Lil kesh, Fireboy and host of others. He charges 7-12 million naira per show and $100,000 outside Nigeria.

Tekno.

Tekno is one hell of a good musician. The former MMMG artist who went ahead to form his own record label after his contract expired. He is known for a good number of hit songs like, pana, Dance, Suru, Woman, Kata, jogodo, etc. The numbers are numerous. He is a serial hitmaker. Tekno charges 7-12 million naira per show and outside Nigerian he charges $80,000 – 120,000.

Davido

Call him the omo baba olowo himself you won’t be mistaken. Davido is one of the most successful Nigerian artist over the years, since his rise to stardom he has continued to grow from strength to strength. He is the CEO of DMW Music group which has artists like, peruzzi, Mayorkun and Dremo. Davido is one of the most successful and hardworking musician. He loves to grow and bring up young, talented artists to shine with him. He charges 15- 40 million naira per show In Nigeria and $100,000-120,000 outside Nigeria.

Wizkid

Yes! Everybody loves wizkid, no doubt he is one of the fans favorite. The starboy CEO is really a legend in the music industry, with lots of hit songs, awards, recognitions, endorsement deals and what have you. Wizkid is not just an artist, he is a brand to partner with. Wizkid has worked with great men and women both in the music and business world. He is the ambassador of one of the leading Africa finance institution, UBA. wizkid has achieved a lot as an independent artists. He charges 20-50 million per show in Nigeria.

Notwithstanding, there are other artists in Nigeria that charges millions of naira per show, the likes of Tiwa savage, Naira marley, Rudeboy, Burna Boy, Tuface. These guys also charges 10- 15 million per show.
