WHAT IS THE MEANING OF CPM ADVERTS? Cost per Mile advertising (CPM) is a type of monetization where publishers unlike PPC advertising don’t get paid on a per-click basis, but get paid according to the number of impressions (page views) they get with the CPM ads on their sites. Meaning you are paid for every 1000 impressions the ads generated on your site. Let say, your website has 100,000 page views per month and you displays a $1 CPM ad then you will generate $100 at the end of the month!
There are many CPM ads provider out there. Some only accept sites with certain amount of traffic and some don’t mind the size of your traffic. Just go for a good one with good reputation. Make sure the amount they are paying per 1000 mile or pageviews is not lower than $1 since $2 is the average cost per mile they usually paid publishers.
Where the ad is place also matter in CPM adverts just like any other ad proprams. Placing a big advert in a highly visible place will generally make you more money than placing it like you are forced to do so.
Sites with low traffic will be frustrated if they use CPM adverts as the ad systems are beneficial for websites that have lots of traffic and a high page view per visitor ratio, but every sites and blog should consider using it as it can add to your income and grow with your traffic.
